Rinse the white peas and then soak the peas in enough water for 6 hours.
Drain the water and rinse white peas in fresh clean water.
In a pressure cooker add soaked peas and 2 glass of water, salt and Turmeric powder.
Pressure cook the vatanas close the lid and give 1whistle on high flame or 5whistle on low flame or until the peas become soft
In a non stick pan ,add 1 tbsp oil, chopped onion fry onion till golden brown add gingergarlic paste and saute for 1 min.
Add chopped tomato, Red chili powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala powder and cook for 10mins or till oil separate.
Add pressure cooked vatanas into prepared mixture and mix nicely and cook for 5 min.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot puris.
